Ultra today announces that it has agreed to sell its niche Ottawa based electronic intelligence business to private investors.
The business develops and delivers nation specific niche electronic intelligence and electronic support measures software and systems.
The sale will have no material financial or other impact on the Group.
Simon Pryce, Chief Executive Officer of Ultra, commented:
"This small disposal is in line with our Intelligence & Communications strategy to focus on our core capabilities, including electronic warfare solutions, that have interoperability applications within NATO. Our Ottawa business has some good niche electronic intelligence technology, but delivers primarily nation specific rather than interoperable solutions and often for non-NATO customers. As such it will be better developed under new ownership. We’d like to thank our Ottawa employees for their contribution to Ultra and wish them and the business every success in the future.”
